The New impressive Sony NEX series heat up the digital camera market

Sony snatches the big attention with its new mirror less digital cameraswith the interchangeable lenses. These new Sony NEX-3 and NEX-5are popularly called as the “alpha compact interchangeable lens digital cameras”. The Sony NEX series gives high image quality without any bulk and has the photographic versatility of interchangeable lens. They are designed well to tackle the continuous autofocus as well as the exposure adjustment during video recording.  They have a 14 megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor which provides the high quality images. The NEX-3 supports 720p video recording while the NEX-5 renders up to 1080i AVCHD video capture.

 

Both the models have a 3 inch LCD giving 921000 dot resolution. And the impressive feature is that this LCD can tilt 80 degrees up and 45 degrees down for the better viewing. The TruBlack technology makes the indoor and outdoor shooting a wonderful experience. Inspite of having alpha in their name these cameras use E-mount rather the Alpha mount. They have an adapter for mounting the alpha lenses but the autofocus is disabled with the NEX cameras
